Offering 64,000 square feet of exhibition and meeting space and adjoining the convention center is the Oakland Marriott City Center, with an additional 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and 483 deluxe guest rooms.

A well-designed floor plan or layout is
critical to the success of an exhibition or event.The floor
plan is a schematic drawing of the exhibit hall or
event venue that includes the booths/stands available
for rent to the exhibitors, facility physical features,
official areas such as registration and other feature
areas that become the exhibition marketplace. In a
rapidly changing business environment, a floor
plan must meet the logistical needs of exhibitors
and sponsors and the shopping habits of attendees
with sufficient flexibility to adjust for growth
or consolidation.

the scenes and provide insights on how they can connect their

increasing their revenues. Chao will detail ways to
increase engagement before an event begins and how
planners can continue attendee involvement long
after the event ends.

Meetings Quest pulled out all the stops and provided attendees with a unique Oakland experience. Hosted by Visit Oakland and presented by Association News, Meetings Quest not only offered its signature Learning Labs and networking opportunities, but highlighted the destination with appearances from former Golden State Warriors President Andy Dolich, the Golden State Warriors Aftershock drum line and the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir. A surprise appearance by Oakland native and hip-hop star MC Hammer added to what made Meetings Quest a truly memorable show.
